  • Utility Rebate Services:
As a registered Trade Ally with ComEd, Peoples Gas , Northshore Gas , and Nicor , we will consult with their Energy Efficiency Program representatives to capture any available rebates for your next project. Whether it’s completing a boiler tune-up, upgrading to VFD’s, or capital improvement project to replace your boilers or chillers; we will pre-qualify the project, complete all of the documentation, and coordinate any site inspections required by the program.

  • Energy Audits:
An energy audit is a systematic approach to problem solving and decision making. The primary goals of an energy audit are to qualify and quantify how the building energy systems are performing now, how that performance can be improved, and what will be the outcomes of those improvements for the Owner in financial and non-financial terms. This audit would be equivalent to an ASHRAE Level 1 Energy Audit, which is a basic walk through or preliminary analysis.  Contact us to schedule a basic walk through and preliminary analysis to get things started.

  • Energy Benchmarking:
In September 2013, Mayor Emanuel and Chicago’s City Council adopted the Building Energy Use Benchmarking Ordinance to raise awareness of energy performance through information and transparency, with the goal of unlocking energy and cost savings opportunities for businesses and residents.
Chicago’s Building Energy Use Benchmarking Ordinance calls on existing municipal, commercial, and residential buildings larger than 50,000 square feet to track whole-building energy use, report to the City annually, and verify data accuracy every three years. The law covers less than 1% of Chicago’s buildings, which account for 20% of total energy used by all buildings.
Regardless, Energy Benchmarking is a good tool to keep track of your recently completed energy based projects to make sure they are performing as planned. Our team can support you on many different levels from benchmarking compliance to executing energy based projects and usage programs.
